Glenmore RSVP Toastmasters Club was chartered in 1994 with 20 members. A spark of an idea, by a Distingvished Toastmaster (DTM) Jim Powers, ignited when our club grew from a Speechcraft series to the successful 27 year old club it is today. Since 1994, we have never looked back and have met continuously at the North Glenmore Community Centre.

Our club has held Distinguished Club designation 10 times over the last 15 year. We have been active and involved in every Toastmasters contest.

Club members’ successes include Winning a D42 Evaluation contest and Placing in several District and Division contests over the years.

Our history with Of the Year Awards include: Rookie of the Year, Division President of the Year, Area Toastmaster of the year and several DTM awards

Club members have served outside our club as Area Directors, Division Director, D42 Chief Judge – two times and D42 Webmaster.

Being a very successful club means that we are committed to the improvement and education of our members, encouraging strong leadership skills with entertaining and vibrant weekly meeting.

This past Covid year, has not slowed us down. We have held in house meetings as well as hybrid and most recently Online Meetings.

Of course, you have none of these successes without a very positive and creative group of people.

You want a fun atmosphere while you learn? Glenmore RSVP – We are Social.

Our fun activities bring our members together – for hikes, BBQs, bowling, Loose Moose Theatre, Comedy workshops, Halloween and Christmas Parties, Online wine tasting, games nights. Many have been online. This social bond helps our club create a very strong and supportive atmosphere where everyone thrives. Come for a visit – stay for the fun.
